WWE Crown Jewel Predictions: Who will be the first-ever Crown Jewel Champion?

WWE Crown Jewel Predictions: Who will be the first-ever Crown Jewel Champion?

Veteran NFL writer and Pat McAfee Show correspondent Mark Kaboly makes his WWE Crown Jewel predictions for Saturday's PLE event (1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT) in Saudi Arabia.

Roman Reigns & The Usos vs. The Bloodline – Six-Man Tag Team Match

After all, Reigns and The Usos are on the same page…or are they? Reigns still has a burning desire to be a tribal chief and bloodline leader. Jey Uso's priorities now lie in continuing his burgeoning solo career, which earned him his first singles title, while Jimmy tries to play host all the time. This will be a disaster for Reigns and The Usos if they don't find common ground, especially against the certainly numerically strong and ruthless Solo Sikoa and the rest of the Bloodline. Reigns will be the key to making this all work (or not work). Reigns has had one match since losing his Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania, and we still don't know for sure if he's committed to reuniting the family or if he's truly just looking out for himself. Whatever happens, the matter will not be resolved at Crown Jewel. But can the trio last through Survivor Series: WarGames and beyond, or will Crown Jewel derail everything?

Forecast: The bloodline with outside interference.

Cody Rhodes fires back after Gunther calls him out "Second champion": Highlights of the Crown Jewel Kickoff 2024

The undisputed WWE Champion and the World Heavyweight Champion engage in a verbal argument before their showdown for the Crown Jewel Championship. Catch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, USA Network, CW Network, Sony India and more.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. World Heavyweight Champion Guenther

Great vs. Great. Whether or not you support Cody Rhodes or Gunther shouldn't obscure the fact that they are actually two of the top superstars in WWE right now and that the two of them can make an insurance seminar interesting in the ring or on the microphone. Considering both have touched a nerve with some of their recent promos, this match certainly has the potential to add momentum. In this battle of opposing styles, Gunther has the physical advantage, but Rhodes' heart and determination cannot be ignored. This is the ultimate bragging rights match, with the winner taking home the Monster Crown Jewel Championship. Since neither of the two have ever competed against each other in a singles match before, this should be a good match from start to finish.

Forecast: Gunther via pin with outside help from Kevin Owens

WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax vs. Women's Champion Liv Morgan

The possibilities of this game are endless when it comes to some form of outside interference from multiple different people and/or factions. Still, the match is just like the men's Crown Jewel match – a battle of opposing styles in favor of Jax. Jax has had a fantastic run and Morgan has held the title himself for over five months. But it will certainly be due to something from outside. And was there anyone better at finding a way to come out on top than Morgan? Something tells me that Tiffany Stratton will have the biggest influence in all of this.

Forecast: Morgan wins by pin. Stratton cashes her money in the bank.

LA Knight's BFTs Carmelo Hayes and Andrade disrupt Game 7: SmackDown Highlights, October 25, 2024

The US champion LA Knight is tired of the role as special guest referee and eliminates Carmelo Hayes and Andrade before their seventh game can be decided. Catch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, USA Network, CW Network, Sony India and more. #Smackdown

US Champion LA Knight vs. Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes (Triple Threat Match)

There's nothing better than Game 7 – that's what they say, right? But LA Knight ruined it for both WWE fans and superstars Carmelo and Andrade by unnecessarily interfering in the conclusion of arguably the best series of matches we've ever seen. Knight should have plenty of confidence to retain the title he has held since SummerSlam (as if confidence was ever an issue for Knight?) Of Knight's four title defenses, he has beaten both Andrade and Hayes in singles matches and both in the final match Knight is the favorite on this week's SmackDown, but you can't rule out any of his opponents to heat up SmackDown even more, where the conflict between the three can somehow continue.

Forecast: Hayes wins by pinning Andrade

WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair vs. Kairi Sane & IYO SKY vs. Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson vs. Chelsea Green & Piper Niven (fatal 4-way tag team match)

On paper, Belair and Cargill should win this match and retain the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, but you can't sleep with Kairi Sane and IYO SKY at Damage CTRL. The duo has already won back-to-back titles and held the tag champs. Still, Cargill and Belair have to be the clear favorites. Now there will come a time in the not too distant future when Cargill and Belair go their separate ways and lay claim to a singles title, but there is not even the slightest hint that this could happen, let alone in a match as big as this Fatal 4-Way, so what would cause that now? Outside interference?

Forecast: IYO SKY pins Chelsea Green as Damage CTRL wins the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles.

Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens

This escalated quickly. It wasn't long ago that Owens and Orton were thieves and tag team partners, and now they can't wait to take on each other in the ring. Owens attacked Rhodes in the parking lot and then Orton the following week, but I can't forget what Triple H said to Orton last week after the Chief Content Officer finally gave in and made the match. Triple H told Orton, “Randy, from this moment on, I recommend you protect yourself at all times.” This could get so ugly for the “Apex Predator” that we may not hear from him for some time.

Forecast: Owens wins by pin and then attacks him, knocking him out.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. “Big” Bronson Reed

This whole rivalry was based on brutality. It started with six tsunamis, followed by Rollins slamming Reed's head into the steel steps, costing him the Last Monster Standing match against Braun Strowman. The highlight was the parking lot fight on Raw. If this turns into another brawl, you have to like Reed's chances. If it's more of a head fight, Rollins will emerge victorious. Looking ahead, this game will undoubtedly be more brutal than anything we've seen before. Rollins can survive defeat because he is an established superstar. Reed needs this more and will approach it that way.

Forecast: Rollins pins Reed, but only after surviving a thorough beating
