WWE Crown Jewel 2024 Results: Winners, Live Scores, Reactions and Highlights | News, results, highlights, statistics and rumors

The match WWE chose to start the Crown Jewel PLE was the Bloodline Civil War, which pitted Reigns and Sikoa's respective versions of The Bloodline against each other in a six-man tag match. Tanga Loa was not involved in the fight, but was present nonetheless.

The audience in Riyadh was absolutely thrilled by “The Tribal Chief” and “The Usos”. The show's intro and performances lasted a total of 20 minutes, so it took a while for the game to start.

Jey and Tama started for their teams and took their time taunting each other between moves. Jimmy took the first day of the match and the first day between The Usos in nearly 18 months, but only managed a two count.

When Reigns asked for a tag, Jey tagged his brother instead. The first signs of friction appeared when Solo came along.

This match was in line with most of what we've seen from The Bloodline since its inception. This wasn't a work rate match with the best chain wrestling or the most dangerous moves. This was about the story they told. It is the definition of sports entertainment.

However, we don't want to take anything away from the six competitors in the ring. Everyone tried hard to make it fun, but it would be a lie to say it was the most action-packed and competitive battle of the PLE.

Other than that, everything turned out exactly as it had to. The new bloodline was a cohesive unit while the OG bloodline dealt with communication and trust issues.

The OTC and Street Champ turned on at the same time and began exchanging blows. Both men survived each other's best throws, but it was Sikoa who emerged victorious after knocking out Reigns with three Samoan Spikes.

Sikoa and his crew continued to attack Reigns and The Usos even after the match ended. Sami Zayn's music hit and he marched to the ring. Sikoa reached out to hug him, wanting Zayn to join him, but Zayn unleashed an exploder suplex instead.

Zayn ended up accidentally kicking Reigns when Sikoa was able to dodge the punch. Jey, Jimmy and Sami argued while Reigns tried to recover.

Result: New Bloodline defeated OG Bloodline

Notable moments and observations

  • The crowd chanted “OTC” before Reigns' music hit.
  • It's interesting that Jimmy came out with Reigns, but Jey made his own entrance. He had to walk a long way through the crowd to get to the ring.
  • Reigns smiled from the apron as he watched his cousins work together.
  • Fatu's running hip strike looked evil.
  • The camera was at the wrong angle to see Jimmy smash a pin, making it look like the referee stopped counting for a second.
