Winter weather will continue in parts of Utah on Saturday, prompting weather advisories and warnings across the state.

A winter weather advisory is also in effect for Monticello until 5 a.m. Sunday. Areas above 7,500 feet elevation may experience 1 to 3 inches of snow, resulting in slippery and dangerous conditions. Officials warn that even light snowfall can accumulate on roads and create dangerous driving conditions. Snowfall is expected to ease Saturday morning before increasing again in the afternoon.

Additionally, a freeze warning was issued Saturday morning for the northern and southern ends of the Wasatch Front and central Duchesne County, with temperatures expected to remain below freezing until 10 a.m., falling as low as 30 degrees.

Residents are advised to exercise caution when traveling and stay informed about changing weather conditions.
