Taylor Swift is all about maintaining important relationships in the public eye, but while many of those have been with girls in the past (#squad), in recent years she's shifted her goal. Straight men, she's after you. First her alliance Her relationship with Travis Kelce made her the biggest star in football, and now she's cemented her truce with another powerful group of straight men: annoying frat brothers who like to plagiarize. Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, attended the Eras Tour Miami on October 19th and received a handwritten letter from Swift thanking him for his years of support. “Dave, I'm so excited to have you on the show tonight!” Swift wrote. “I wanted to thank you for always being so supportive, so loyal, and for having my back when many others didn’t.”

Portnoy is a long-time supporter of Swift and describes herself as “King of the Swifties” and “Dave 'Swiftie' Portnoy.” Still, if we had to guess why that is special When the letter was sent, we bet it had something to do with Portnoy, a Trump supporter, defending Swift on X after supporting Kamala Harris in the upcoming election. That or the fact that he complained that her team “ghosted” him when he “thought I was getting an invite from their PR agency” to the Miami Eras Tour. “I don’t get any respect from the Swiftie team for what I do,” he added on the Oct. 10 episode of his podcast BFFs. On the same day the podcast was released, Portnoy recanted on Whatever the situation, a good relationship with each other again. BFFs, you could say.
