Vita Vea, 29, has the strong support of his mother Fipe Vea and father Sione Vea. His mother grew up in Milpitas in a Tongan family and played a crucial role in shaping his NFL career. However, there is very limited information available about his parents.

His mother, who is originally from Tonga, has reportedly taken on multiple jobs to provide a better life for all three of her children. When Vita Vea was young, his mother was reportedly completely involved in five different jobs. Therefore, she only spent time with Vita and his sister Alisi and his brother Sifa on Sundays.

Vita promises to buy a house for his mother after the NFL draft
