Matt Eberflus had some doubts about whether he was the right man to usher in the Caleb Williams era after two lackluster seasons in Chicago with Justin Fields. It's been a mixed bag so far in 2024, but Williams has shown plenty of flashes to keep the Heat away from the head coach.

What strengthens Eberflus is the coach's defensive background, which has turned the Bears' defensive unit into one of the fiercest defensive teams in football.

That will be a difficult challenge for the Jaguars, who have struggled to operate on the offensive side of the ball this season under Doug Pederson's leadership. Trevor Lawrence has been criticized for not quite living up to his new, flashy contract, but perhaps more credit goes to the head coach who has so far failed to dig the Jags out of the muck.

  • Start time: 9:30 a.m. ET
  • Location: London
  • Venue: Wembley Stadium

The third straight week of NFL action in London ends in Week 7 with the Jaguars taking on the New England Patriots. The No. 3 overall pick, Drake Maye, could be the starting quarterback for New England at this point, adding to the intrigue.

Giants vs. Panthers in Germany

  • Date: Sunday November 10th (Week 10)
  • Start time: 9:30 a.m. ET
  • Location: Munich, Germany
  • Venue: Allianz Arena

The Carolina Panthers and the New York Giants will play in the last international NFL game of 2024. Both teams got off to a slow start and share the highest chances of making the Super Bowl after the first month of the season.
