In his plea agreement, Williams was sentenced under the first-offender/conditional release law to a total of 40 years in prison, with the first five years in prison. The sentence was commuted to time served, followed by a 15-year probationary sentence and a subsequent 20-year prison sentence.

If Williams completes the entire 15-year probation sentence, the suspended portion of the sentence will be converted to time served.

Williams pleaded guilty to counts 57, 58, 59, 60, 61 and 62 of the indictment, but pleaded nolo contendere to counts 1 and 56 of the indictment. These charges constituted a conspiracy to violate the RICO Act and were unlawful for any person holding the position of organizer/supervisor/management of a criminal street gang.
