Warriors at Rockets game preview, November 2: Watch, stream, lineups, injury report

The last time we saw the Rockets face the Warriors, a longtime Western Conference rival, Golden State virtually eliminated Houston from postseason contention near the end of the 2023-24 regular season.

This early April game was played at Houston's home NBA arena, the Toyota Center, where the Warriors have won a number of big victories over the years.

But the Rockets (3-2) are off to a promising start to the 2024-25 season with three wins in their last four games. They'd like to back that up with a win Saturday in the same building against a longtime nemesis, especially considering Golden State (4-1) finished one spot ahead of Houston last season and clinched the final West play-in spot. secured the tournament.

If the Rockets are indeed ready to make another leap, a win over the team that finished one spot above them last season would be a strong statement to start the season.

For Houston, it's the start of a three-game homestand at Toyota Center, with the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs visiting on Monday and Wednesday, respectively.
