Details about Victoria Monét and John Gaines' separation

Victoria's rumored new romance with Stormzy follows her recent split from John Gaines. As TSR previously reported, the “Alright” musician and personal trainer issued a lengthy joint statement confirming their split. They have reportedly been dating since 2020, according to Hot97.

“Ultimately, we decided to be open and address the issue in hopes of putting an end to the question marks for the sake of our healing process. We have spent the last 10 months respectfully and privately dealing with the fact that we are no longer in a relationship. Although we still totally love and respect each other, we are no longer a couple,” the statement read.

The former couple emphasized that raising their daughter was important to them. Monét and Gaines have a three-year-old daughter, Hazel Monét Gaines.

“We still think the world of each other and act with love in every interaction with our family. We have an incredible daughter to raise for a lifetime and that is undoubtedly our top priority forever. No relationship status can eliminate or replace this fact. We are committed to inner work and trust that God will bring us both where we belong in due time,” the statement said.

Stormzy continues

It looks like both Victoria Monét and Stormzy are moving on to the next one. Just like Victoria, Stormzy recently completed a rekindled relationship with his on-again, off-again girlfriend. Maya Jamaaccording to Glamour.

The former couple took to their Instagram Stories in July to announce the split, giving a brief overview of their dating journey and how they tried to make it work.
