VICTORIA Beckham is basking in the glory of her fashion brand – although it could easily go up in smoke.

The former Spice Girl, 50, says she is “so proud” it turned a profit in 2023 after years of “fighting fires”.

Posh, who founded her Victoria Beckham company in 2008, will be honored with the Entrepreneur gong at the Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year Awards today.

She said: “There was a point where that brand was all fire and every day we were putting it out.”

The mother of four models a suit and dress from her collection for the new Harper's Bazaar, which goes on sale tomorrow.

Earlier this year, its main backer, David Belhassen, gave the company's first positive forecast, saying it expects to turn a profit once its financial statements are released next month, with sales up almost 50 percent to £58 million.

Victoria has seen a surge in sales after attracting many well-known stars, including Kim Kardashian and supermodel Gigi Hadid, to wear her clothes.

The business also expanded into leather goods and fragrances.

It's a welcome turnaround for Victoria, which has posted repeated losses.

In January its accounts showed it had made a loss of £5.8m.

And the company's total loss since its inception now stands at just over £66 million.

Inspectors even questioned the brand Future in 2021.
