Tyler explains bombastically about children

The Love is Blind Season 7 reunion addressed widespread speculation about topics such as Tyler Francis' biological children. It also left viewers equanimous more Questions.

This season, it seemed like the couples mostly had their arguments off-camera, confusing viewers, leading to such big events as Alex Byrd and Tim Godbee's (should we call him Drake?) Mexico and Monica near-breakup Davis and Stephen Richardson implode over alleged infidelity. The reunion episode filled in some of these plot holes.

Which couples from “Love is Blind” Season 7 are still together?

To make it simple: Yes, of course Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans are still married and living in Virginia, although they are planning a move to Washington DC. And yes, his hair and styling glory happened under her watch during the first year of their marriage.

But what might surprise those who have been following online claims about Tyler's relationship with his children is that he and Ashley Adionser are also still married.

What did Tyler say about his children?

Tyler urged viewers to delve into his personal life and said his children's birth certificates have now been released. “Things are happening now that shouldn’t be happening,” he said.

Unfortunately for those who were hoping in vain that Nick and Vanessa Lachey would delve deeper into the time Tyler supposedly spent (and didn't spend) with his children and his role in their and their mother's lives, he held his explanation briefly.

“I helped a friend and her wife start a family. But her wife eventually left her and abandoned her. This was my very close friend, so I volunteered to step in and help. “So there are a few pictures of me,” Tyler said. “I spent the holidays with all my friends and all their children. And I played a role with a friend that was very shaky.”

Even though it didn't get him anywhere in sorting out his personal life, he and Ashley took the opportunity to present a united front.

“I want to let people know that Ashley knows all this. This is news to the world; “This has never been news to us,” he said. “I'm giving this explanation now because the world is waiting for it, but I don't owe anyone an explanation except my wife.”

Ashley says Tyler admitted to being in touch with his children before their on-camera conversation

Ashley then said that Tyler had been honest about his involvement in his children's lives before the on-camera conversation, during which viewers assumed Ashley had learned the news for the first time.

“Who do you think has better insight into what’s going on, social media or me? So it's an insult to my intelligence when people suggest, 'She was caught off guard! She didn't know,'” Ashley said. “Secondly, for the record, this is something he never wanted to share on camera. I just didn’t feel like it would be an authentic experience or that I could continue the experience if we didn’t do it.”

“So I kind of told him we need to talk about it. There were things he wanted to share and things he didn't want to share,” she continued. “For example, I once asked him, 'Do they know what you look like?' And he says, “I don’t believe that.” And you could tell he was lying. Of course he revealed this information.

She also seemingly confirmed that Tyler no longer cares about the children as she said that due to growing up in a single-parent household, it was very difficult for him to withdraw and become disengaged now that he is a single mother . Ashley also called her husband “a good person who got in a little too deep and didn't know what to do next.”

“When I said 'I'll do that,' I said 'yes' to everything. I was aware of it and embraced what I wanted,” Ashley said. “This is a unique kind of love. That’s a rarity and something worth risking everything for.”

Ramses says he never gave Marissa an “ultimatum” about birth control

In the dedicated segment, Ramses Prashad addressed some viewers' anger over his comments about reluctance to use condoms, as Marissa George said birth control pills were not her preferred method of contraception.

“At no time did I try to give Marissa an ultimatum,” Ramses said. “She had very good reasons for not wanting to use hormonal contraception. I am well aware of the impact this has on a woman's body. That’s why I would never force anything on her.”

“We had a conversation about several methods. It was a very nuanced conversation. We arrived at a solution that works best for us.”

During that conversation, Ramses unfortunately doubled down on his previous on-camera claim that Marissa's energy was too much for him — although, to his credit, he added, “She deserves a person and a love that fully embraces her,” just like her is. I just felt like this person couldn't be me.

Representing Team Marissa was her mother Vanessa, who admitted from the crowd that she “wanted to punch him in the throat” after their breakup conversation but was “grateful he turned it down.” She accused Ramses of leaving her daughter “devastated.”

He admitted that he regrets not “expressing his concerns more openly” earlier.

Love Is Blind women accuse Nick of calling Hannah a “grenade.”

When Vanessa lashed out at Hannah Jiles and forced her to apologize for her brutal honesty with Nick Dorka, Hannah flipped the script and began sowing doubt about Nick's intentions.

Hannah said she found a notebook in their shared apartment in which Nick wrote that he wanted to be “the most famous person ever on Love is Blind.” Nick explained that he detailed the 90-day goals for himself, which were written while he was in the casting process, “long before I knew I was going to be on 'Love is Blind.'

After claiming that he was “super sincere” in his intentions to appear on the Netflix show, Hannah made another accusation: that he told his friends that he wasn't attracted to her after she would have met. She, Alex, Marissa and Monica claimed that Nick said Hannah was “ugly” and looked like “a grenade” or someone who would be considered the least attractive in a friend group.

The offensive against Nick gained momentum when the cast spoke out on stage and Nick claimed, “I never once flaunted you. The whole thing has been thrown out of perspective.”

But Stephen confirms that there were conversations of this kind, and even Ramses encourages Nick to speak plainly, saying: “Things were said. … This is the moment to take responsibility.”

Nick immediately gives in: “I said I was overwhelmed when I saw Hannah at the reveal. I never said she was a grenade.”

What sexual text messages did Stephen send during his engagement to Monica?

First of all, Stephen did Take a sleep test.

The show revealed photographic evidence on screen (“I have sleep apnea,” he said). What was less clear was what he did and didn't do during what he called “pretty juicy” texts between him and another woman.

He denied any recollection of the exchange and claimed he had deleted the communications. He later claimed that he never deletes text threads. But hey, he was here to take “full responsibility.”

“I had a moment of weakness where someone texted me and talked about heart disease. And then right after that they said, 'So I've been getting into some interesting fetishes lately,'” Stephen said.

“I had this conversation and I knew I shouldn’t do it. And then I put my phone in the sleep study and said, 'You know what? I've done this before; I know where it ends. That's that man, that's not what I want to be.'”

Stephen clarified that the person on the other end of the sexual communication was “someone I had known through Instagram for a few years” but had never met her.

Meanwhile, Monica clearly had no interest in rehashing the events of a year ago since they had already buried the hatchet off-camera.
