Trump secures victory over Harris in presidential election

Ukraine is completely dependent on the USA and Trump has made it clear that he no longer wants to spend money on Ukraine.

So I think President Volodymyr Zelensky will be worried and in big trouble. I have met him many times and know that the prospect of Trump's return has always worried him and the leadership around him.

Zelensky's experience must be remembered. Before the Russian invasion, when he first became president of Ukraine, he had dealings with Trump, who tried to shake him off.

Trump was ultimately impeached after it was revealed that he had pushed Zelensky to investigate then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden in the run-up to the 2020 election.

The call was reported by an unidentified whistleblower who spoke of an “urgent concern” about the conversation on July 25, 2020, and came shortly after Trump blocked the release of military aid to Ukraine.

A senior official later testified that the president made it clear that the release of that aid was contingent on an investigation into Biden. This was denied by the White House at the time.

A trial took place that could have led to Trump's removal, but in the end he was acquitted.

Now Ukraine is in the middle of war and the tide has turned with Russia able to get weapons from Iran and troops from North Korea, so a Trump victory will have a big impact.

If Trump turns off the tap or cuts funding, it could not only demoralize the Ukrainians but also lead to serious shortages, particularly of weapons, but also of logistical support, intelligence and other things that the US currently provides.

Europe is not that united and many countries do not collectively agree to support Ukraine and they simply do not have the spare military capacity to support Ukraine. Most have tiny armies and lack the necessary aircraft, vehicles and ammunition.

I think if you are in Ukraine right now you are very worried.
