Businessman Mark Cuban claimed Donald Trump doesn't surround himself with “strong, intelligent women” and claimed that the former president “doesn't like to be challenged by them.”

“Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women. It's simple, they scare him. He doesn't like to be challenged by them,” Cuban said Thursday on ABC's “The View,” according to Mediaite.

Cuban, who chose Vice President Harris to campaign for, then used former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley as an example.

Earlier this week, Haley warned Republicans about messages about women and Latinos after comedian Tony Hinchcliffe joked about Puerto Rico, Latinos and black people at the Trump rally in New York City over the weekend.

“I mean, Puerto Ricans, this is personal to them. They take it personally. So if they were right to denounce the comedian, they need to tell Puerto Ricans how much they appreciate them. They need to tell Latinos that,” Haley said.

“But they also need to be careful about how they talk about women,” she added. “I mean, this bro romance and masculinity stuff is bordering on the point of making women uncomfortable.”

Haley has not come out in support of Trump and said last month that she had not been asked to run for the Republican presidential nominee. Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Whatley said in an interview on NewsNation's “The Hill” that the RNC would “welcome” her support in the campaign.

“The View” host Joy Behar responded to Cuban's comments, saying Stormy Daniels is a “very smart” woman. Host Whoopi Goldberg then chimed in and explained that Cuban was referring to the women Trump had “on stage.”

A CBS News/YouGov poll from earlier this week found that support for Harris and Trump is largely split along gender lines: 55 percent of support for Harris comes from women, while 54 percent of support for Trump comes from men.
