Less than 24 hours before Election Day, Donald Trump called former Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “crazy as a bedbug” during a wild tirade.

Trump was in Raleigh, North Carolina, Monday morning when he made the remark about the California representative and Democratic leader. The event in Raleigh was his first of four rallies on the eve of Election Day.

“She’s an evil, sick woman,” Trump said. “She’s crazy as a bed bug.”

“She's crazy, she's a – remember she ripped up the paper behind me? She could have gone to prison for that,” he added, referring to the time Pelosi tore up a copy of his State of the Union address in 2020.

A spokesman for Pelosi said Trump's comments were “just the usual projection of his own insanity.”

“The former president appears increasingly unsettled and unstable,” said her spokesman The Independent.

At the same rally, Trump said his aides stopped him from launching attacks on former first lady Michelle Obama.

“She hit me the other day,” Trump said. “I wanted to say to my people, 'Can I hit them now?' They said, 'Take it easy, sir, sir.'”

“My genius is – I'm telling you, they said, 'Take it easy,'” he added. “What do you mean? She said bad things about me. I can't fight back? 'Sir, you win.' Just relax.' Is this good advice or bad advice?”

Last week, the former first lady called Trump a “thug, a slumlord” and a “predator” during a campaign rally for Kamala Harris in Michigan.

“People write off his 'childish indecency' as Trump as just Trump,” she said. “Instead of questioning his terrible behavior, some people just think he's funny.”

“I hope you'll forgive me if I get a little frustrated that some of us are ignoring Donald Trump's gross incompetence and demanding that Kamala dazzle us at every turn,” she added.

A new New York Times/Siena College poll released just 48 hours before Election Day shows Kamala Harris has now overtaken Trump in four critical swing states, including North Carolina.

Trump also appeared at a rally in Kinston, North Carolina on Sunday. There he seemed to forget where he was.

Trump was speaking to supporters when he began praising David McCormick as “one of the best (Republicans) of anyone here.” But McCormick is running for Senate – in Pennsylvania.

“We have great Republicans in the race and you have one of the best of them all, David McCormick, do you know that?” Trump said. “Where is David, is he anywhere around? You know he just left, he’s a great guy.”
