Current Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield said in a podcast interview that the mindset “appealed to everyone” but “stressed everyone out.”

Brady responded to the comment while calling the Buccaneers' Week 4 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

“I thought it would be stressful not having Super Bowl rings,” Brady said during the game. “I had the attitude of a champion that I went to work with every day. This wasn't a daycare center. If I wanted to have fun, I would take my kids to Disneyland.”

TOM BRADY TAKES UP THE CHALLENGE OF “LEARNING ON THE FLY” IN A NEW ROLE IN THE ROUND

“There's a way to approach this game and that's with the right mindset, to try to push each other out of our comfort zones, and great teammates do that. Coming in, I've got someone like (Rob) Gronkowski, I've got someone like (Mike). ) Evans. The expectations are high for us, we have to make sure we go out and deliver.”

Mayfield performed well with the Buccaneers after moving from the Cleveland Browns to the Carolina Panthers, to the Los Angeles Rams and later to Tampa Bay.
