Tropical Storm Rafael could quickly intensify in the Caribbean

Tropical Storm Rafael continues to strengthen and remains on track to become one hurricane as parts of the Caribbean prepare be hit by devastating hurricane force Winds, flooding Rain and a dangerous one Storm surge.

Storms are raging across parts of the central US ahead of Election Day

A multi-day severe weather threat remained in place across the central United States on Monday, impacting the region with thunderstorms producing damaging wind gusts, large hail and reports of tornadoes.

There are reports of hail the size of a golf ball in Texas and homes damaged by strong wind gusts in Oklahoma on Monday, and evacuations were ordered in parts of Missouri due to flooding.

The threat of severe weather is now shifting to the Mississippi Valley and the Midwest on Tuesday, and there is also growing concern that flooding could occur in some low-lying areas.

Watch: At least 10 dead in Indonesian volcano eruption
