Today on Pinstripe Alley – 10/29/24

So, the Yankees, who won the American League pennant, right?

Yes yes. The Yankees are now 0-3 and are looking at the possibility of a win after another terrible loss last night. We've now literally achieved win or go home, so… tune in tonight. Or read a book. Or watch a movie. Follow your heart.

It's a pretty straightforward day on the site today. Dave will get creative for his Yankees Player of the Game for World Series Game 3, and Peter will delve deeper into his thoughts on the matter to score some extra points that he didn't go into in great detail in the recap. Later, Sam will preview Game 4, in which rookie Luis Gil will face the Dodgers' version of Johnny Wholestaff (a bullpen game). I'll post the lineups and then it'll be time to see whether or not the Yankees are ready for baseball tomorrow night.

World Series Schedule:

Game 4
new York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
(RHP Luis Gil vs. bullpen game)
(LAD leads, 3-0)

Time: 8:08 p.m. ET
TV: Fox
Venue: Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY

Questions/Suggestions:

1. So is there little hope of a win tonight? Or maybe even dare to at least hope for a return to LA?

2. Other than Judge, who is your pick to start tonight if the Yankees can get a W?
