Today on Pinstripe Alley – 10/14/24

It's time. The New York Yankees face the Cleveland Guardians tonight in the Bronx. Yes, we feel a little uneasy about the mercurial Carlos Rodón starting the opener, but he's in the rotation and wanted to serve at some point. Clarke Schmidt will be ready for Game 3 in Cleveland (and a possible Game 7 if necessary). Let's hope Aaron Boone doesn't hesitate to break the glass that left the bullpen resting in the middle inning at the first sign of trouble – especially with Gerrit Cole scheduled for Game 2. Win as best you can tonight and get on the right side of it!

Today we're bringing you all the League Championship Series material you could want on our website! Matt will review what happened last night in NLCS Game 1, Jeremy and David will preview the Guardians' pitching and offense, respectively, and Jeff will return 25 years to a different ALCS than the Yankees and Red Sox In a somewhat forgotten game, 2 chess players competed against each other. Later, Jake will break down the three keys to the Yankees' advance to the World Series and Madison will put out the call for mailbag questions.
