There's no denying Sierra Leone at the Breeders' Cup Classic

With a powerful rally on three or four sides in the back corner, Sierra Leone took command on November 2 and won the $7 million Breeders' Cup Classic (G1). Del Mar.

Bred in Kentucky by Debby Oxley, Sierra Leone is a 3-year-old son of Gun Runner – Heavenly Love, by Malibu Moon. He is trained by Chad Brown and ridden to victory by Flavien Prat.

Sierra Leone brought home a trio of three-year-olds in the top spots Wildness came second and trained in Japan Forever young came third.
