A #QSRNext session will discuss innovative delivery strategies and the cutting-edge technology that enables them.

The quick-service restaurant industry, based on speed and convenience, has found a cornerstone in delivery services. As consumer demands continue to evolve, quick-service restaurants are trying to stay ahead of the curve by exploring innovative delivery strategies and leveraging cutting-edge technology.

A session of the half-day #QSRNext virtual event, “Delivering QSR Domination: Gearing Up for the Future of Fast Food Delivery,” will explore the future of delivery, highlight emerging trends and discuss strategies for navigating the rapidly changing landscape.

#QSRNext is a half-day virtual event, free to qualified restaurant operators and owners, taking place on November 13, 2024. It is hosted by Networld Media Group, which includes Fastcasual.com, PizzaMarketplace.com, QSRweb.com and FoodTruckOperator.com.

The session speaker is Betsy Schmandt, President and COO of A&W Restaurants Inc.

Schmandt said delivery is the next big growth channel for quick-service restaurants.

“Customers crave convenience and delivery allows them to enjoy their favorite meals when and where they want,” she said in an email interview. “The secret to success is not so secret – be where the customers are and offer delicious food at a fair price. Customers want to order meals online and enjoy their food in the comfort of their own home. Restaurants that consistently provide this quality and convenience.” Basis will see their sales increase with delivery. Drive-throughs were once the new and exciting technological breakthrough and growth channel for quick service restaurants – and we were ready to respond to this change.
