The Nebraska Cornhuskers assistant explains the secret weapon in front of Wisconsin

The Nebraska Cornhuskers volleyball players are preparing for a big showdown against the Wisconsin Badgers. Although it doesn't have the feel of previous seasons when both teams were undefeated or almost unbeatenIt's not like the Wiscy are suddenly a bad team or anything like that.

Friday evening will soon be the first real test for John Cook and Co. The Huskers have experienced a looser conference schedule in recent weeks, so this game will be a way for them to prepare for the final stretch of the regular season.

The good news is that the Nebraksa Cornhuskers have a bit of a head start in preparing for Wisconsin. “I think we’re lucky that we have a few guys in training that we can somewhat compete against.” Larson saidby laying out something they can use when preparing for a big game. “And then also against our players. So we know we have to alternate the throws and hit high, but at the end of the day we think we have to do something different, but we just have to do the same thing. And if we continue to perform at a high level, we will be fine.”

Larson also talked about how even though they know they have a big game, they try to make sure it doesn't get to them.

“I think you can get into it and make the event bigger than it is, and don’t get me wrong, it’s a big opponent and there are a lot of factors, but again we control a lot on our side.” Page. We control our own individual behavior, which then impacts the team, and it all comes together.”

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have a big task ahead of them, that's what Jordan Larson hears feels like they're ready.
