The Halloween forecast in New Jersey shows warm weather near 80

People associate Halloween with fresh fall air and cool temperatures. Not this year. North Jersey has already experienced historic temperatures in 2024 and now more records could be broken on Halloween.

North Jersey is expected to experience its warmest Halloween on record.

In Bergen County towns like Teterboro and Bergenfield, the temperature is expected to reach a high of 79 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

According to Bob Ziff of North Jersey Weather Observers, the record high temperature in Bergenfield on Halloween was 76 degrees back in 1999.

According to the National Weather Service, Teterboro's previous record high temperature reached a high of 77 degrees on Halloween in 2019.

The predicted high temperature in Bergen County on Halloween is 18 degrees above normal. In Teterboro, the normal temperature on Halloween typically reaches a high of 61 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Bergen County is expected to have a low of 63 degrees on Halloween, according to the National Weather Service. This is the warmest Halloween low temperature on record, breaking 2019's low of 62 degrees.

You may not need that Halloween jacket this year, but don't put it away because temperatures will drop back to their usual cool temps this weekend. According to the National Weather Service, Bergen County will see a high temperature of just around 60 degrees on Saturday.
