Texas college football poll rankings updated before Longhorns play Oklahoma

As the chaos surrounding college football unfolded in Week 6, Texas football watched from afar, safe from the misfortune experienced by some of the best teams in the country during open week.

The Longhorns remained No. 1 in the updated USA LBM Coaches Poll released Sunday morning.

They began the week ranked No. 2 in the AP poll behind Alabama, which lost at Vanderbilt. The updated AP Top 25 will be revealed later on Sunday.

UPDATED LEVELS: Texas football midseason grades: Are Quinn Ewers and Arch Manning among the A's for the No. 1 Horns?

Alabama was one of four top-10 teams out this week. Tennessee lost at Arkansas, while Missouri was crushed by Texas A&M and Michigan suffered a loss to Washington.
