Team analyst/radio sideline reporter John Harris summarized some key notes from the Texans' 24-20 Week 4 win over the Jaguars at NRG Stadium.

Let's dive into some of the best moments from the 24-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

2nd quarter
7:22 left
The Jaguars lead 10-7
3rd place and goal
+3.5 yard line

The Texans put QB CJ Stroud in the firing line/empty with 11 people on the field (1 TE, 1 RB, 3 WR). Three receivers went to the right side while two went to the short side/left side. The Jaguars were playing match coverage against the Texans, but when WR Nico Collins lined up in the left slot with Dare Ogunbowale at outside receiver, I knew EXACTLY where that ball was going. S Andre Cisco lined up opposite Collins and that's a mismatch. What worked in this play's favor, however, was that Dalton Schultz's corner route caught the attention of the middle safety on the other side. When that safety became free to cover Dalton on the right side, a huge hole opened up above the Houston S in the end zone as Nico separated Cisco and the LB. Neither of them carried Nico across the field, in other words, “You got him/No, you got him” left him wide open. Stroud won't miss his man and hasn't. He shot into the end zone and Collins converted the touchdown, giving the Texans a 14-10 lead.

4th quarter
1st play of the quarter – 3:00 left
The Jaguars lead 20-17

4th and goal
+1.5 yard line

When I spoke to DeMeco Ryans after the game, he noted how valuable it was to have the quarter break right before that play. On the sideline, the defensive staff discussed a possible QB sneak with the players, something that 6-foot-10 Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence executed well. But the Jaguars then came out shotgun/empty – all receivers and running backs out of the backfield. Andre Ware and I immediately thought the exact same thing: QB draw. DeMeco thought the same thing. Almost every defensive Texan knew a QB draw was coming. And that was true for Foley Fatukasi and Mario Edwards Jr. The former Jaguar was locked down with Brandon Scherff, the Jaguars' current right guard, and immediately saw Lawrence launch forward into the end zone. Fatukasi threw Scherff off the trail Lawrence had found. On the other hand, Mario Edwards Jr. did the same. They essentially crowded Lawrence into a tight space and then brought him down 36 inches short of the end zone, which would have been a 2-point lead. What a game for Foley, Mario and the defense!!
