Target 2024 Thanksgiving meal deal feeds 4 people for $20

Turkey Day is just a month away and retailers are unveiling their Thanksgiving deals. This year, Target shoppers can feed four people for $20.

The deal is $5 cheaper than last year and includes turkey, stuffing and five other sides, the company announced in a news release Monday morning.

“Target is helping consumers stretch their budgets as turkey prices per pound are 20% lower than last year,” the company wrote in its press release.

This year's Feed Four for $20 Thanksgiving meal includes:

Good & Gather Premium Basted Young Turkey (Frozen) – up to 10 pounds
Good & Gather Russet Potatoes – 5 lbs
Del Monte Sliced Green Beans – 14.5 oz
Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup – 10.5 oz
Ocean Spray Jelly Cranberry Sauce – 14 oz
Stovetop Turkey Stuffing Mix – 6 oz
Heinz Home Style Roasted Turkey Gravy – 12 oz

The Thanksgiving offerings also include non-traditional holiday foods, Target said, adding that many families eat pizza the night before Thanksgiving. The company is offering members of the paid Target Circle 360 program a free frozen pizza with same-day delivery from November 13th to 16th.

The goal is to reduce the price of Thanksgiving dinner and other items

The Thanksgiving announcement came after Target promised to lower prices on more than 2,000 items, the company noted.

“From reducing the price of our Thanksgiving dinner menu to just $20 to offering a range of hosting and gifting options and special Target Circle 360 offers, we serve the type of exceptional quality and value that sets Target apart,” said Rick Gomez, Target's executive vice president and chief commercial officer, said in the press release.

Other deals promised by Target include sides like Good & Gather Cheddar Mac and Cranberry Goat Cheese, and desserts like Favorite Day Apple and Pumpkin Pie for under $5.

The company is also offering deals on hostess and gift options like fresh flowers, wines and a Good & Gather Charcuterie entertaining tray for $11.99. The company is also selling nearly 700 new food, beverage and entertainment items this year.

Target is promising deals on interior design again this year

The company said in its press release that there will be special opportunities for customers to receive items designed by designer and Target employee John Derian. This year, Derian's Thanksgiving Home Collection designs are being sold for a limited time. The collection includes tableware and novelty pillows for under $40.

The company will also sell gourmet food and drink gifts from Marks & Spencer such as the Gingerbread Tin and Salted Caramel Pine Cones, as well as 11 new home accessories such as London decorative items and mugs for under $20.

Target sells stocking stuffers starting at $2, gifts under $10, and Good & Gather and Favorite Day activity sets for $12 and under.

Finally, the company has integrated its Price Guarantee Program, free Target Circle membership, and the company's paid Target Circle 360 membership, which offers customers unlimited same-day delivery with no delivery fees on orders over $35, free two-day shipping, and extended returns.
