The holiday season is just around the corner and with it comes the annual addition of Christmas items to the Starbucks menu. Starting Thursday, Starbucks locations across the country will add several popular, returning holiday items to the menu, as well as some new creations.

Returning items include the famous Peppermint Mocha, which has been a customer favorite for more than 20 years. Made with Starbucks espresso and combined with steamed milk, mocha sauce and peppermint flavored syrup. Other returning items include the Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte and Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai.

The company is also bringing back cold foam drinks for the holidays, including Peppermint Chocolate Cream cold foam, Sugar Cookie Cream cold foam, Chestnut Praline Cream cold foam and Caramel Brulée Cream cold foam.

In addition to the returning drinks, Starbucks is introducing the following new drinks:

• Gingerbread Cream Cold Foam: Featuring spicy gingerbread flavor mixed with Starbucks' signature sweet vanilla cream.
• Cran-Merry Orange Refresher: Combined flavors of orange, tart cranberry and warm spices, along with hints of cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg, shaken with ice, water and real cranberries.
• Cran-Merry Orange Lemonade Refresher: Combines the Cran-Merry Orange Refresher shaken with ice, lemonade and real cranberries.
• Cran-Merry Drink: Contains the Cran-Merry Refresher made from coconut milk, poured over ice and served with real cranberries.

In addition to the drinks, Starbucks is releasing some new food items such as the Turkey Sage Pancake, Dark Toffee Bundt Cake, Penguin Cookie and Snowman Cake Pop. A sugar plum cookie and a cranberry bliss bar also return to the menu after being on sale during past holidays.
