Beaux Collins entered Notre Dame's game against Navy as the team's top receiver. However, he only had one touchdown this season. So you could be forgiven if you somehow forgot he existed.

During the third quarter of the aforementioned contest, Collins reminded Irish fans of his presence. The Irish tried to answer the Midshipmen, scoring a touchdown on their first drive of the second half. They mostly ran the ball before Riley Leonard hit Collins for a 37-yard touchdown, allowing the Irish to answer the Midshipmen.

While Collins was still absorbing the score on the sideline, Midshipmen quarterback Blake Horvath fumbled a snap near his own end zone, and the ball ended up where Jaylen Sneed recovered it for another Irish touchdown. Just like that, it was 44-14, Irish.

The Irish were suddenly in great shape to pick up a win in the second week of play. Here's how social media reacted to these recent events:

Greg Slusarski

You love watching it.

Chris Bunnell

Oh yes. We forgot to mention the missed PAT.

Michael Jones

Tough but fair.

Dave Thomas

Yes, actually.

Andy Roberts

Does anyone have a different opinion?
