Severe weather damaged over 200 structures across Oklahoma and assessments are ongoing

Hundreds of structures were damaged after storms on Saturday night and Sunday morning.

According to an updated storm damage report from the Oklahoma Emergency Manager, 228 structures were damaged across the state.

The assessments are not yet completed.

Four buildings were damaged in Garvin County Sunday evening.

In Lincoln County, three structures were destroyed, two sustained major damage, three suffered minor damage and one was damaged.

In Oklahoma City, 39 buildings are destroyed, 43 with major damage and 54 with minor damage.

In Oklahoma County, two structures were destroyed, two with major damage, one with minor damage, and 56 structures affected.

There is a severely damaged structure in McClain County.

In Stephens County, five were destroyed and twelve were severely damaged.

Several streets were still closed Sunday night due to power lines, debris and flooding.

An American Red Cross overnight shelter is open for residents without power displaced by the storms at Choctaw Elementary School, 14663 NE 3rd Street, Choctaw.

The American Red Cross provided 135 meals to responders as of Sunday evening.

They are also providing people in affected areas with snacks, meals and cleaning supplies.

The Salvation Army provided 240 meals for emergency responders.

Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief has cleanup crews in affected areas.
