Savannah Guthrie's daughter had a nice message for her mom this Election Day.

On Tuesday, November 5, the 52-year-old journalist shared a photo on her Instagram Stories of a note her daughter Vale, 10, wrote to her at the start of the big day. The note was written on a lined piece of paper and read: “You got this! You worked so hard! -V.”

“Note from my daughter today – election day ❤️❤️❤️,” Guthrie wrote over the snap.

Amid a carousel of images, Guthrie posted a photo of her and Vale posing in front of the Eiffel Tower, taken while the network was covering the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Another photo showed the youngster posing with an ice cream at a picnic table, while another selfie showed the mother and her daughter smiling sweetly at the camera. A fourth and final shot showed Vale beaming and pointing at the pretty pink floral dress she was wearing.

“For this, even if it's a made up Instagram holiday – Happy National Daughters Day ❤️,” Guthrie captioned the post.

When Guthrie's daughter Vale learned earlier this month that Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce were also at the US Open men's final, she sent her mother a series of text messages with a message specifically for Swift.

“It’s Vale. Have you met her???” Read the lyrics Guthrie shared on her Instagram Stories.

“Tell her I wrote her a fan letter and she's the best singer in the world,” the lyrics continued, ending with a GIF captioned: “Did someone say Taylor Swift?”

Guthrie then shared a selfie of Vale smiling while wearing a tie-dye T-shirt and braces on her Instagram Stories.
