Villarreal will be looking to get back to winning ways in La Liga when they compete Real Valladolid on Saturday afternoon.

The Yellow Submarine, which comes in fourth place La Liga tableenters the competition after a 1-1 draw against Getafe, while 18th-placed Real Valladolid secured a 3-2 win Alaves last time outside.

We say: Real Valladolid 1-2 Villarreal

Villarreal won 3-0 on their last visit to Real Valladolid and while we don't expect Saturday's result to be as comprehensive, the Yellow Submarine should have enough to get them back to winning ways in Spain's top flight to return.

Alaves will be looking to avoid a fifth consecutive La Liga defeat when they compete Rayo Vallecano on Saturday afternoon.

The visitors have been winless in Spain's top flight since September 20 and have fallen to 14th place due to their disappointing run La Liga tablewhile Rayo are in ninth place with 13 points from the first 10 games of the season.

We say: Rayo Vallecano 2-1 Alaves

Alaves had a positive performance in their last game against Real Valladolid, but their defensive record is worrying and Rayo have the players who can hurt the visitors on Saturday; We expect an open and entertaining game with Rayo likely to emerge victorious.

Fresh off their first La Liga win of the 2024-25 season, Las Palmas will continue their season with a home game against the Champions League team Girona on Saturday evening.

Las Palmas won a five-goal thriller against Valencia in their last game to move clear of the bottom of the table La Liga tablewhile Girona have had their problems this season and the Catalan team is currently in 12th place.

We say: Las Palmas 1:1 Girona

Las Palmas will be the fresher of the two teams and can take a lot of confidence from their success in their last game, but Girona are a quality team and despite their injury problems we expect the Catalan team to be good enough here to take a point.

One of the biggest games in the football calendar takes place on Saturday evening at the Bernabeu real Madrid greeting Barcelona for the latest episode of El Clasico.

Barcelona have been the standout team in Spain's top flight this season, with the Catalan side currently at the top La Liga tablewhile Real Madrid are in second place before this game, three points behind their rivals.

We say: Real Madrid – Barcelona 2:2

There has not been a draw between these two teams in La Liga since December 2019, while the last stalemate took place at the Bernabeu in 2011. However, we find it difficult to separate them this weekend as the points could potentially be shared in what should be a hugely entertaining El Clasico.
