Saquon Barkley is currently carrying the Philadelphia Eagles on his shoulders. He shouldn't have time to look over the fence to see how his former team, the New York Giants, is doing.

And yet he does.

Barkley is doing his thing on the turnpike, is the NFL leader in rushing and ranks second in total yards from scrimmage after three weeks.

But he's keeping a close eye on the Giants and their new star, rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers. Barkley praised Nabers on Sunday night after the Week 3 games at X.

Barkley couldn't ignore the impact Nabers has had on his former team so far, with the rookie breaking records week after week.

The Giants and Eagles face each other in just a month – in Week 7 (October 20) at MetLife Stadium. As we've seen this season, a lot can happen in a short period of time.

Let's see if Barkley is still as excited when he sees Nabers perform in person.
