Rookie Report: Not many highlights other than Drake Maye

NASHVILLE – Here's a look at how the Patriots' rookies fared in Sunday's 20-17 overtime loss to the Titans at Nissan Stadium.

QB Drake Maye – The third overall pick in the draft was 29 of 41 for 206 yards, with one touchdown and two interceptions. Maye's touchdown pass came just before time expired when he hit Rhamondre Stevenson from five yards out for the game-winning goal.

WR Ja'Lynn Polk — It was another tough afternoon for Polk. In his first game back from a concussion, he had no catch and suffered two penalties.

OL Layden Robinson — Robinson was back in the starting lineup at right-back, but was released after appearing to struggle early. In his place, the Patriots moved Mike Onwenu from right guard to right tackle and inserted Demontrey Jacobs at right tackle.

WR Javon Baker — Most of his work on special teams came as a kick returner.

DB Marcellas Dial Jr. — He did a very good job and developed the role of a special teamer. On Sunday, he finished with a special teams tackle and a forced fumble.

QB Joe Milton III — He served as the emergency third quarterback for the ninth straight season.

TE Jaheim Bell – The Florida State product made the first catch of his NFL career on his only target in the first quarter.

LB Curtis Jacobs — Active. No statistics registered.

DB Dell Pettus — He got most of his work providing depth to a secondary that was without veteran safety Kyle Dugger for the second straight game. He finished the game with three tackles.
