Raiders poll: A trade for pass rusher Haason Reddick?

Raiders poll: A trade for pass rusher Haason Reddick?

A highly qualified defensive player may soon be available.

The contract saga between the New York Jets and veteran pass rusher Haason Reddick continues and appears to have no end in sight. The Jets acquired Reddick from the Philadelphia Eagles in the offseason. However, he hasn't reported to New York because he wants a new contract.

It could get to the point where the Jets cut bait and trade Reddick.

If that happens, should the Las Vegas Raiders consider trading for Reddick?

The team could use an experienced pass rusher alongside star Maxx Crosby, and it has the financial and salary resources to secure a new contract for Reddick, who has 58 sacks in seven NFL seasons. The 30-year-old Reddick had 11 sacks last season.

Do you think the Raiders should make a move for Reddick, or do you think it wouldn't be worth it in the grand scheme of things to get Redick?

They could get it done as part of a Davante Adams trade that would lead to a reunion with Aaron Rodgers.
