Hugh Grant (D&D: Honor Among Thieves), Chloe East (The Fabelmans), And Sophie Thatcher (“Yellowjackets”) lead the cast of the upcoming horror film Scott Beck And Bryan Woods.

In the film, “two young missionaries are forced to prove their faith when they knock on the wrong door and are greeted by a devilish Mr. Reed, who becomes drawn into his deadly game of cat and mouse.”

The first trailer teased that Mr. Reed would ask his prisoners to choose between two doors: belief and disbelief. The new trailer doesn't reveal much, but it does gives an insight About the horrors that await us. Additionally, it teases that Mr. Reed may have smarter prey than he suspected.

Heretic had its world premiere at TIFF, which resulted first reviews on the internet. Critics agree on one thing: Hugh Grant shines as the devious Mr. Reed. I wrote in mine review The Heretic is “a film ultimately carried on the backs of its villain, and Grant's goofy, amusing portrayal of Mr. Reed might be enough to make you a convert.”

The A24 film was rated “R” for “some bloody violence.”
