Police are investigating a shooting at the Linda Vista gas station

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) – San Diego Police responded to reports of a shooting in Linda Vista around 5 a.m. Friday morning.

Authorities confirmed there were multiple scenes: one in the 6900 block of Linda Vista Road and another at the intersection of Comstock and Osler streets.

In an update around 7 p.m., FOX 5/KUSI confirmed that a shooting occurred outside a Chevron gas station at Linda Vista Road and Ulric Street. Police said it is believed two people opened fire on each other and fired multiple shots.

Two people were reportedly injured and taken to local hospitals. It is not yet known whether the victims were the shooters themselves. FOX 5/KUSI is working to confirm additional details.

As for the crime scene in the area of ​​Comstock and Osler streets, it appears an accident occurred and police said they believe it is related to the shooting

There are currently no outstanding suspects, police said.

The public is urged to avoid the affected areas while police continue their investigation.
