PFB Picks: Predictions for Oklahoma State's Week 10 matchup against Arizona State

PFB Picks: Predictions for Oklahoma State's Week 10 matchup against Arizona State

The Cowboys are back in Stillwater for Homecoming and will be in desperate need of some home cooking.

Oklahoma State is 3-5 after losing all five of its Big 12 games so far. A loss to the Sun Devils 5-2 (2-2) would not only put the Cowboys in a precarious position to maintain their 19-year bowl streak, it would also be the first time they have won six in a row under Mike would lose Gundy.

A win doesn't change much, but it might stop the bleeding, and the Cowboys appear to be getting closer and closer to proficiency on both sides of the ball. Will they finally get over the mountain?

This is how the PFB employees see the outcome of this matter.

Marshall Scott

Score: Arizona State 35, Oklahoma State 21

OSU MVP: Brennan Presley

Uniform: Oklahoma A&M Tigers Throwbacks

Thoughts: Cam Skattebo is not a running back you want to see with his tackling and effort coming into question. I'm not sure how much better the Sun Devils are compared to BYU and Baylor (two teams the Cowboys hung out with), but I think this is a terrible matchup for the Pokes considering the physical deficit , who should get 50 runs on Saturday.

OSU MVP: Brennan Presley

Uniform: Oklahoma A&M Tiger Throwbacks

Thoughts: Two weeks ago, the Sun Devils faltered in the ground game without QB Sam Leavitt and suffered a loss to Cincinnati as a result. Star running back Cam Skattebo only rushed for 75 yards after rushing for over 150 yards in his last two appearances. On the other side of the ball, the Sun Devils surrendered a season-high in rushing yards and YPC to the Bearcats. Luckily for the Sun Devils, they face Oklahoma State – the No. 14 rushing offense and No. 16 rushing defense in the Big 12.

Decota Gregory

Score: Arizona State 38, Oklahoma State 23

OSU MVP: Ollie Gordon

Uniform: Oklahoma A&M Tiger Throwbacks

Thoughts: My real MVP for this game is Cam Skattebo, who could break BPS records against this porous OSU defense. No matter how competent OSU's offense looks on Saturday, the defense will still prevent this team from picking up a win, which will ultimately give the Pokes their longest losing streak since I was born.
