Patrick Mahomes stared at the 49ers defender after sending him into the end zone

Patrick Mahomes didn't have much success in the air in the Kansas City Chiefs' clash against the San Francisco 49ers, so he resorted to making plays with his legs.

After putting the Chiefs in prime field position after a sensational 33-yard run, Mahomes completed the job himself by firing the ball through the gut and into the end zone for six points.

However, it wasn't a contactless delivery for the star quarterback. Mahomes was hit in front of the end zone by 49ers safety Malik Mustapha, but only one of them stopped after a hard collision at the goal line. Mahomes raced straight through Mustapha into the end zone and celebrated by staring coolly down at his opponent.

Check out the two-time MVP's tough performance.

And here's another angle that shows how strong the result was from 15th place.

Mahomes provided the boom in this run, which marked Kansas City's third rushing touchdown of the game. It was Mahomes' first rushing touchdown since Week 16 of the 2022 season, as he had played 30 games (regular season and playoffs) without running one past the pylons.
