On Sunday morning, clocks go back one hour as Daylight Saving Time ends ⏰

In the words of the great singer/actress Cher, “If I could turn back time…” Oh wait, this weekend we can!

Here's your annual reminder that Daylight Saving Time officially ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 3rd, which means we turn the clocks back an hour before bedtime on Saturday evening.

While many people are looking forward to an extra hour of sleep, some aren't so happy about how our sunrise and sunset times will shift with the time change.

After sunset on Saturday at 6:46 p.m., the sun then sets on Sunday evening at 5:45 p.m. after the clocks have been reset!

Here's a look at times in San Antonio next week:

Date sunrise sunset
Saturday November 2nd 7:48am 6:46 p.m
Sunday, November 3rd 6:49 am 5:45 p.m
Monday, November 4th 6:49 am 5:44 p.m
Tuesday, November 5th 6:50am 5:44 p.m
Wednesday, November 6th 6:51 am 5:43 p.m
Thursday, November 7th 6:52 am 5:42 p.m
Friday, November 8th 6:52 am 5:42 p.m

The number of daylight hours has already begun to shorten, and this will continue until the winter solstice, which occurs on December 21st this year.
