Pooh. This was a difficult question that I didn't fully understand until I was done looking for other possible definitions for “kingdom” and found the biological one.

Based on the clue – “In my kingdom” – I was expecting something more geographical or possibly role-playing related. Since I couldn't think of anything, I had to use not one but two clues to get started.

The first revealed CLASS, which didn't help much, but GENUS got me on the right track. From then on I was given TYPES that allowed me to figure out the Spangram written from left to right: TAXONOMY.

Even though I had no idea how this was related to the clue, I could now rack my brain and look for possible answers, which I gradually carved out from the remaining letters on the grid. FAMILY and DOMAIN rounded out the top half well, but the bottom part was a little less clear.

After staring at the board for a long time, I finally came to this conclusion: PHYLUM was written diagonally at the top, leaving only ORDER at the bottom left to solve the puzzle.
