How to play connections

If you've never played before Connections So far the rules of the game are simple enough, just solving the puzzle can be difficult.

First, players are given a table with 16 words. These are divided into four groups of four based on common characteristics and divided into categories. The difficulty level of the categories varies from yellow to green and blue to purple, with yellow being the easiest category and purple being the most difficult category.

For example, in a recent game, the words “braid,” “bun,” “bangs,” and “twist” were linked together in the category “Ways to Wear Your Hair Up.” This was a blue category.

After selecting four words, click the “Send” button. If your selection is correct, they will be displayed in the category color and hidden from the grid. However, if they are incorrect, they remain gray and remain on the board.

If you get stuck, click the Shuffle button to move the words elsewhere in the grid. This might give you just the refresher you've been looking for.
