Next Fortnite Season News: When is Chapter 5, Season 5?

While Fortnitemares keeps players entertained throughout Halloween and Dr. As Doom's Marvel assault on Battle Royale Island continues, Epic Games has been busy providing us with information about what we can expect from Chapter 5, Season 5.

Details are still unknown, but we do have information about a new live event set to kick off the upcoming season, as well as a glimpse of the content associated with it.

So let's take a break from battling Marvel villains in Chapter 5, Season 4 and take a look at what's in store for Fortnite in the coming weeks.

When does Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 end?

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 expected to end on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

So until then, make sure you make the most of the current season and grab the chests from Stark Industries!

When does Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 5 start?

Fortnite Chapter 5's fifth season is set to begin after the current one ends, so that's what it means Saturday, November 2, 2024 after a certain amount of downtime, as is always the case with Fortnite.

However, we now know that a live event, Fortnite Remix: The Preludeshould precede the start of the new season.

This should take place on Friday, November 1, 6:30 p.m. ETwhat is 10:30 p.m for us in the UK.

This was confirmed by Epic Games in a post on the game's official X page on October 29, 2024, as shown below.

What do we know about Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 5?

Epic Games had made a few announcements about the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 5 update, although none of them revealed too much.

But then on October 29, 2024, the game's X-site released a new video that plays backwards and ends with a logo in bold yellow letters that says “Fortnite Remix Chapter 2.”

The video is only four seconds long but features previous characters like Meowdas and the unmasked Skye, which has delighted fans in the comments.

A poll posted under the video by an account called Fortnite News & Leaks asked users if they liked the Battle Pass skins shown in the video.

At the time of writing, there were 2,611 votes, with 69 percent saying “yes.”
