New York Giants 2024 Trade Deadline Rumor Tracker

Tuesday business, rumors

What will the New York Giants do at the NFL trade deadline, which is Tuesday, November 5th at 4:00 p.m. ET?

We asked Big Blue View readers what they think the Giants should do in this week's SB Nation Reacts poll. 71 percent said the team should be salespeople.

We'll be following all the rumors, detailing all the moves, and providing a comprehensive opinion and analysis on what we think the Giants should do and what they ultimately will do.

Edge defender Azeez Ojulari, who has six sacks this season despite limited playing time, appears to be a hot name in the trade rumor mill. Ojulari is in the final year of his contract with the Giants.

Wide receiver Darius Slayton, who is also in the final year of his two-year deal with the Giants, has been constantly caught up in trade rumors. This year is no exception.

Could the Giants be short on 2022 No. 7 overall pick Evan Neal? Given Tyrone Tracy's plight, could they find a taker for veteran running back Devin Singletary? Could they be willing to acquire 2023 first-round pick Deonte Banks, whose performance has been questioned this season and who sat on the bench for more than half of Monday night's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers?

Could GM Joe Schoen do something unexpected and be a buyer at the deadline?

Keep it here, we'll track everything for you.

Tuesday moves, rumors

Ojulari deal still possible

Panthers Cowboys deal

That leaves the Giants with one player to take off the field this weekend, but adds another to contend with on Thanksgiving Day. Jonathan Mingo was selected in the second round by the Carolina Panthers in 2023 and is now moving to the Dallas Cowboys.

The Giants reportedly want “their price” for Ojulari

The Detroit Lions have added a pass rusher ahead of Tuesday's NFL trade deadline, acquiring veteran defensive end Za'Darius Smith in a deal with the Cleveland Browns, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The first-place Lions, looking for defensive depth since Aidan Hutchinson's leg injury last month, also received a 2026 seventh-round draft pick from the Browns, who acquired a 2025 fifth-rounder and a 2026 sixth-rounder in the trade, said Sources Schefter.
