MLB.tv will own the Guardians' TV rights in 2025 – without local blocks

We don't have much information on this, so I'll carefully and directly quote what we know.

Mandy Bell: “MLB will have the Guardians’ TV rights for 2025. Games will be available to watch on television (network information will be announced closer to Opening Day) and on MLB.tv. This agreement will also eliminate local power outages.”

Bell also shared this statement from the Guardians: “We are pleased to partner with Major League Baseball to produce and distribute games locally.” This is great for our fans because starting in 2025, our games will now be more widely available. This includes streaming in our home television territory for the first time ever, essentially ending the blackouts for our local fans.”

The Twins and Brewers are also broadcast this way.

Mets 7, Phillies 2

The Phillies and Mets put on a defensive clinic. The Mets also put on an offensive clinic. Philadelphia's defense and some timely Aaron Nola Ks held the Mets to 2 runs through 5. Then they exploded with 2 more each in the 6th and 7th and one in the 9th.

Sean Manaea had amazing ballplay, allowing a run over 7. The Mets' struggling Phil Maton gave up the other PHI run.

Padres 6, Dodgers 5

The Padres and Dodgers can certainly strike. Spending money works wonders in this area. A home run by Mookie Betts in the first inning looked like he had been robbed again. But after a tense wait it ended with the ball failing on Profar's glove. The 1-0 lead didn't last long.

The Padres scored 6 points in the second period. The Dodgers played poor defense and Fernando Tatis' hot hitting made them pay again. He has an OPS of 1.969 in this series.

The 6:1 lead was lost just as quickly. In the third round, TeOscar Hernandez hit a grand slam and it looked like a 19:18 game. But after that nobody scored anymore and it ended 6:5 for the Padres. They lead the series games 2 to 1.
