Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt Fighting Robots

Netflix has released the official trailer for Russo Brothers' “The Electric State,” starring Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt.

Set in an alternate America in the mid-1990s, “The Electric State” stars Michelle, a young girl who goes through the city in search of her missing brother after a civil war between humanity and the robots that once served them country travels. Pratt plays Keats, a smuggler she meets along the way.

The cast also includes Stanley Tucci as Ethan Skate; Giancarlo Esposito as Colonel Marshall Bradbury; Woody Norman as Michelle's missing brother; and Ke Huy Quan as Dr. Amherst. Anthony Mackie, Billy Bob Thornton, Woody Harrelson, Jenny Slate, Jason Alexander, Alan Tudyk and Brian Cox voice characters in the sci-fi adventure film.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. “The Electric State” is based on the visual novel of the same name by Swedish artist Simon Stålenhag.

The Russos, best known for directing the Marvel blockbusters “Avengers: Endgame” and “Avengers: Infinity War,” have been developing the project since 2017. They are producing alongside AGBO co-founder Mike Larocca as well as Chris Castaldi and Patrick Newall.
