Michigan Football vs. Washington Huskies betting odds released

The No. 10 Michigan Wolverines are 4-1 this season and 2-0 in the Big Ten Conference. Michigan's first road game of the season will be next Saturday against the Washington Huskies, 3-2. The betting odds have been released and Washington is currently the favorite.

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Michigan is currently a 1.5-point underdog against Washington. The over/under is 40.5 points.

This is a rematch of last year's National Championship, where Michigan won 34-13. Washington, like Michigan, has a new head coach (Jedd Fisch) and starting quarterback (Will Rogers). A large portion of Washington's roster is made up of new players, including 19 true freshmen and 25 transfer players.

Michigan is 10-5 all-time against Washington, including three straight wins. However, the last time the Wolverines played in Washington was a 23-18 loss on September 8, 2001. The first time these two programs played dates back to 1916, when Michigan defeated 66 in Ann Arbor :7 won.

The 2024 Washington team is only 3-2, but has the No. 10 overall defense and No. 21 overall offense. Both of Washington's losses were by less than a touchdown, 24-19 to Washington State and 21-18 to Rutgers. Even if a team's record is always the same, this Washington team could easily be 5-0. Michigan is the ranked team and reigning champions, but they rank lower in total defense (No. 43) and total offense (No. 116). But will these rankings matter come kickoff?
