Pop culture icon Martha Stewart ends the year 2024 with a bang. She has a Netflix documentary, Marthain out; will publish her 100th book, Martha: The Cookbook: 100 Favorite Recipes, with Lessons and Stories from My Kitchenon November 12th; and will be going on a book tour for most of the month to celebrate.

RJ Cutler's new documentary explores the details of Stewart's life and will contain some shocking revelations. The 83 year old wasn't the perfect wife either. In the documentary, she admits to also having an affair and insists that her husband didn't know about it. However, Cutler mentions that Andrew Stewart actually knew, adding that it was Martha who left her partner first. She quickly dismisses this and says she doesn't believe it's true.

The lifestyle expert also admits to kissing a stranger in Florence Cathedral while the couple were on their infamous long European honeymoon, but insists that “it was neither naughty nor unfaithful.” It was just emotional at the moment.”

Just a few years after their marriage, the Stewarts welcomed their only daughter, Alexis. However, motherhood hasn't been easy for America's First female self-made billionaire. “Back then everyone had children so young. That was pretty much in keeping with the style and I thought it was a natural thing. And it turns out that being a mother isn't natural at all,” Stewart says candidly. She previously spoke openly about her relationship with Alexis, calling it “difficult” but adding: “(Alexis) would do anything for me, and I would do anything for her.” The two claimed they were “incredibly close.” and recently purchased a $12.3 million semi-detached home in the New York building where the show took place Just murders in the building is shot.

Alexis was born in New York City and grew up in Manhattan and the Berkshires. Although her parents were wealthy, being Martha Stewart's daughter came with its own challenges. Andrew Stewart, Alexis' father, expressed his regrets about parenting in an interview, admitting that they did a “poor job” as parents and barely made time for her. However, Martha told People in 2020 that she “tried to include (Alexis) in everything” and that she taught her daughter to cook while running her catering business from home. Alexis' parents divorced when she was in her twenties.

Alexis Stewart attended Putney School, a prestigious boarding school in Vermont. According to her famous mother, she couldn't wait to get out of the house. Stewart then attended New York's Barnard College, her mother's alma mater, graduating with a degree in English before embarking on a career in the entertainment industry.
