Mark Cuban's recent comments about women supporting Donald Trump have angered MAGA supporters. The billionaire appeared on ABC's “The View” on Thursday, where he explained that the former president was “never” surrounded by “strong, intelligent women.” Always.” That comment put Republican women in the spotlight and sparked widespread anger, leading Cuban to retract his words.

Mark Cuban's comment enraged MAGA

Cuban said Thursday morning: “They are intimidating to him. He doesn't like being challenged by them. Nikki Haley will call him out on his nonsense about reproductive rights and the way he sees, treats and talks about women. I mean, he just can't have her with him. It wouldn't work.” The comment came just after President Joe Biden called Trump supporters “trash,” Newsweek reported.

Ciban's comment infuriated MAGA supporters, with Trump's campaign account on Nikki Haley will call him out on his nonsense about reproductive rights and the way he sees, treats and talks about women. I mean, he just can't have her with him. It wouldn’t work.”

On his platform Truth Social, Trump released a statement in which he called the Cuban “a really stupid guy.” He wrote: “Actually he is completely wrong, I surround myself with the strongest women – with the understanding that ALL women are great” whether strong or not strong. This guy is such an idiot.

Women support Red Clapback at Cuban

Trump's former White House press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, called Cuba's comments “deeply offensive.” During an appearance on Fox News, she said: “I worked for Donald Trump. I consider myself a strong woman. I consider the people around me to be strong women.

Marjorie Taylor Greene, a close Trump ally and Georgia representative, posted a video message in which she was seen in a gym set up. In the video she said: “Here’s the thing with Mark Cuban. He suffers from low testosterone…In fact, he is intimidated by strong, intelligent women like me.”

Laura Loomer posted a picture of herself next to Trump and wrote: “I am a strong, intelligent woman who supports President Trump!”

Internet users react to Cuba's remark

Netizens didn't hold back from commenting on Cuba's remark about female Trump supporters. One user on I would challenge him to debate any woman on Team Trump. They would destroy him.” A third user wrote: “So not only are we Nazi trash, our women aren't strong and intelligent either.” Screw these people!!!”

Another user wrote: “Oh please. @TulsiGabbard would like a word. I hate to break it to you, but insulting women is not the way to get them to vote for your side.”

After receiving heavy criticism for his comment, Cuban attempted to clarify in a statement on social media: “I said this during a conversation about why Nikki Haley was not active in his campaign.” He continued: “I know many strong, intelligent women voting for Trump, including in my extended family. I’m certainly not saying women voters aren’t smart, strong and intelligent.”

He added: “I know he has worked with strong, intelligent women like Elaine Chao, Kelly Anne, Ivanka and many others. I stand by my opinion that he doesn’t like to be publicly challenged.”
