Low chance of rain, then lower humidity, cooler until Thursday

FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS
  • Expect to avoid some showers and thunderstorms over the next few days

  • Weak front today, dry air again until Wednesday evening

  • At the end of the week we finally had a few mornings with temperatures around 15 degrees!

  • Tropical weather remains east of Texas

FORECAST

Good morning! We have a weak front north of San Antonio. It could be enough to bring a few showers today. Unfortunately, it will still be warm. Expect highs in the 35s, with partly cloudy skies. There is a 20% chance of rain.

The same front will remain close by tomorrow, so the forecast includes isolated chances of rain. We're increasing the chance of rain to 30% for both Tuesday afternoon and the first half of Wednesday. A second front or a blast of drier, cooler air will then arrive late Wednesday. Will there be a big cooling off? No. But mornings will be much more pleasant (mid-18 degrees) through the weekend.

A tropical wave currently located in the western Caribbean is forecast to strengthen into a tropical storm and eventually a hurricane by the end of the work week. At this point, models agree that this system will move northward toward the Florida Panhandle. It's still very early in the process, meaning the path could change, but we're confident at this point that it won't impact Texas.
