Vice President Kamala Harris and former president Donald Trump Both spent the final hours of their campaigns in the swing states of Pennsylvania and Michigan, widely seen as crucial to winning the White House.

Harris ended her day in Philadelphia, where Lady Gaga sang “God Bless America” ​​and Oprah Winfrey took the stage with first-time voters. Ricky Martin, a native of Puerto Rico, was also on hand to attract Puerto Rican voters who were put off by a comedian who called their home country a “floating island of garbage” at a recent Trump rally.

“Our people-driven movement reflects a simple and undeniable truth: that we are all in this together,” Harris said.

Harris did not arrive at the vice president's residence, the Naval Observatory, until 1:41 a.m

Trump, meanwhile, spent the final hours of the day in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he graduated around 2 a.m

He lambasted Harris for campaigning alongside celebrities.

“We don’t need a star because we have a policy. We have great policies,” he said. He later boasted about his own stars: “So many celebrities here, it's unbelievable: Mike Pompeo, please stand up,” he introduced his former secretary of state.
