Cheney responds to Trump's gun comment

Former Rep. Liz Cheney responded to Trump's comments about guns being “pointed at her face,” saying his remark showed the actions of a dictator.

We cannot trust our country and our freedom to a petty, vengeful, cruel, unstable man who wants to be a tyrant,” she said in a social media post with the hashtags “Women will not be silenced” and “Vote for Kamala “.

Trump attacked Cheney during a campaign rally with conservative commentator Tucker Carlson in Phoenix, Arizona. He also called her “a very stupid person.”

Trump Attacks Liz Cheney, Says 'Look How She Feels When The Guns Are Pointed To Her Face'

Trump lashed out at one of his biggest critics, former Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, using violent images in an interview with Tucker Carlson.

“And I don't blame (former Vice President Dick Cheney) for sticking with his daughter, but his daughter is a very stupid person, very stupid,” Trump said. “She is a radical war hawk. Let's put her there with a gun that shoots at her with nine barrels. OK? Let's see how she feels about it. They know when the guns are pointed at their faces. They know it's all war hawks when they sit in a nice building in Washington and say, “Oh, man, let's – let's send 10,000 soldiers right into the enemy's mouth.”

Cheney and her father, the former vice president, supported Harris, and Cheney did campaigned In battleground states with Harris, he portrayed Trump as a threat to democracy and national security to win over Republicans and moderates.

Trump hurls new insults at Harris, calling her a “tough-ass” who is under pressure

During a rally in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Republican presidential candidate continued to insult Harris, his Democratic opponent, and her intellect.

“There are people who thrive under pressure and there are people who crumble under pressure,” Trump said. “She’s a badass.”

The former president also claimed that Harris was “exhausted” and said she was “completely stiff,” although he gave no reasons for these slights against her.

“Kamala has the economic understanding of a child,” Trump said. “Have you ever heard her speak?”

The former president's continued insults come as he and his supporters have criticized President Biden for them apparently calling Trump supporters “trash” during a phone call with Latino activists on Tuesday. Mr. Biden responded to remarks made by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe at Trump's rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, where he called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage”.

The White House said Mr. Biden was referring to Hinchcliffe's offensive joke and not those who support the former president, and Mr. Biden also said in a post on at his rally at Madison Square Garden as trash – that's the only word I can think of to describe it. That's all I wanted to say.
